Empowering Women to Lead Boldly

I believe in the power of women. Ones who are busy but still want more. That are scared but do it anyway. Women who lift each other up. The ones that are brave enough to dream without boundaries. Those are my kind of ladies.

The world needs more female CEOs and women in leadership. It’s our turn, ladies—stand up.

The Power of “YET”

Words are powerful. My favorite word—the one that can change your life—is YET.

Add it to the end of every limiting thought that’s been holding you back. “I’m not ready… yet.” “I don’t know how… yet.” “I haven’t built it… yet.”

That tiny word is loaded with grace, potential, and permission to dream bigger. Because it reminds us that capability isn’t missing—it’s just waiting to be developed.

You don’t need all the answers. Just be brave enough to begin.

Building Without a Blueprint

I recently launched my new entertainment company, Rock Paper Cannon, an independent television studio on a mission to bring live-audience sitcoms back to Middle America. We’re the only studio exclusively focused on this format—developing new shows, building stages, and creating jobs in the process.

As Founding CEO, I’m raising capital, recruiting world-class talent, and pushing for industry change—there’s no blueprint for what we’re doing – not yet. It’s a big swing, and yes, it’s scary—but if you can see it, you can build it.

Becoming Fearless

As the former CEO of Prairie Surf Studios, I didn’t have a roadmap there either and I was building an entirely new production vertical—passing legislation, fundraising, and proving Oklahoma could compete on a national stage.

When fear tried to stop me, I went back to school, taking financial accounting through Harvard Business School Online. I found mentors, hired experts and learned what I didn’t know—yet.

Knowledge became my armor. Fear turned into fuel.

People fear what they don’t understand—so go learn the things that scare you most. Remove them from your path and keep moving forward toward the vision God has placed in your heart. He doesn’t illuminate the whole path at once, but He will always shine a light on your next step. You can walk in faith or you can walk in fear—but you can not walk in both.

Dreaming Without Boundaries

Get uncomfortable. Cast a BOLD vision. Focus on the small wins because they become substantial milestones. This is your life. No one is going to come make it happen for you. You are ready. You are capable. Now go get it.
