Hello, I’m Rachel Cannon

and I love to create things — and watch them grow.

Over the years, my work as an actress, producer, entrepreneur, studio executive, writer, mother, wife, and champion of women in entertainment and business has taught me something important: our best lives begin at the edge of our comfort zones. Even more, they expand when we find the courage to dream beyond them.

Through my work, I’ve learned that creativity multiplies when shared. That’s why I’m excited to take you behind-the-scenes for a sneak peak at all the things I’m creating — from acting and entrepreneurship to mentorship and community engagement.

I love finding new ways to do old things.

That curiosity led me to create Rock Paper Cannon, an independent television studio reimagining how TV is developed, financed, produced, and distributed. We bring live-audience sitcoms and family-centered storytelling center stage — creating jobs, revitalizing local economies, and inspiring a seismic shift in where live entertainment is made.

Today, the entertainment industry is no longer landlocked in California. Instead, it belongs to anyone bold enough to build it. For me, comedy is a vehicle for change. I believe in the power of laughter to heal and bring people together, reminding us that we are far more alike than different.

Because of that, we’re stepping up to fill the gap on the underserved market for sitcoms in Middle America — with stories that feel authentic, funny, and deeply human.

Ultimately, creativity is a renewable resource — one that multiplies when shared. Every story we tell and every job we create fuels a global creative economy, proving that creativity belongs everywhere, and to everyone.
